Øleg&Kaśka is a collective superorganism founded in the summer of 2018. We graduated from The University of The Arts in Poznań (Poland) in 2020 (MFA). Our artistic practice is mainly about creating multi-layered installations in which we place the viewers. We work with different mediums like painting, sculpture, video or fragrance to create immerse environments in wich viewers can attend. Our practice is rooted in the dilemmas of the Z generation, contain the responsibility to deal with world crises.

The language we use is a hybrid of eastern european mythologies, legends or alchemy mixed with a pop culture, with wich we grew up. It is our way to talk about escapism, fatalism and hope, but also about condition of the world societies and environment in general.

We try to deal with classic understanding of the art and the figure of the artist as an individual, by creating the figure of the quasi artist, androgynous Øleg&Kaśka. We have exhibited our works in many institutions and galleries in Poland and abroad like Zacheta National Gallery of Art, Warsaw (PL), MoMA, Warsaw (PL), Suprainfinit Gallery, Bucharest (RO), :SKALA Gallery, Poznan (PL), Gdansk City Gallery, Gdansk (PL), Belinskej Model, Prague (CZ), Spread Museum, Entrevaux (FR), Sonneundsolche, Düsseldorf (DE), PLATFORM Munich, (DE), Liste Art Fair Basel, Basel (CH), Felix Art Fair, Los Angeles (USA), and others.
