The ING Polish Art Foundation for the past ten years has been supporting Warsaw Gallery Weekend and awarding the artists and the galleries with the ING Polish Art Foundation Prize. With the award, the Foundation intends to not only express appreciation for Polish artists, but also to support galleries exhibiting during the Warsaw Gallery Weekend and contributing to the position of the Polish art scene on the international art market.
The award is granted in two categories. Artworks of the Main Prize recipients will enter the Foundation’s collection. The Special Prize is a distinction in the form of a financial award for the non-commercial activities of artists or non-traditional gallery initiatives. The selection is made by an international jury composed of a representative of a Polish public institution, a foreign curator invited to learn about the Polish art scene, a private collector, and two Foundation representatives.
This year, the winners of the 10th edition of the ING Polish Art Foundation Prize will be announced on the Foundation’s and Warsaw Gallery Weekend’s social media channels on 19 September 2026 at 9:00 pm (CEST).
