Lucjan Demidowski (b. 1946) – a photographer based in Lublin and a member of the Association of Polish Art Photographers since 1971 (membership no. 383). He is one of the leading figures in Polish conceptual photography and has documented the artistic life of Lublin since the 1960s. His oeuvre encompasses experimental montages and intermedial exhibitions, as well as photographs inspired by nature and architecture—particularly tree branches, stones, and mirrors, which have become hallmarks of his visual language.

Demidowski demonstrates a sustained interest in the photographic process, the perception of the image, and the collection and transformation of fragments of reality within his personal archive of textures, forms, and forgotten objects. His work explores the boundaries of the medium through performative and intermedial interventions within exhibition spaces.

Since 2024, he has collaborated with the Archeology of Photography Foundation.
