Wojciech Gilewicz is the author of photographic series, video works and paintings. Many of his actions involve questioning the boundaries between artistic gesture and reality – instead of creating his works in a conventional way, the artist looks at his immediate surroundings and chooses his tools so that the effect of his actions is temporary. He realizes painting objects in public spaces that become almost invisible by becoming similar to their surroundings, or allows his paintings to be repainted by the public.
