Anna Myszkowiak
Anna Myszkowiak (b. 2000 in Biłgoraj) sculptor, also creates objects and installations. A fifth-year student of the Faculty of Sculpture at the University of Arts in Poznań, graduate of the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Lublin (specialisation: woodcarving). Her works refer to the broadly understood being in the body, issues of discomfort and delight. She uses both classical sculptural materials, such as wood or metal, and everyday objects, such as blankets, sheets, baking paper and objects found on the street. She likes her works to evoke ambivalent feelings and calls her work impressionistic. Winner of the Grand Prix at the 16th LOOSTROO Autumn Art Salon (2024), recipient of an MKiDN scholarship for artistic achievement(2025, 2019).
