Aleksandra Liput, born in 1989 - visual artist working in ceramics, textiles, creates objects and installations. Her work explores issues related to spirituality in the broadest sense of the term and magical objects. She looks for inspiration in ancient beliefs and stories. She is interested in concepts related to myth and utopia. She is an assistant in the Drawing Studio at the Painting Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. In 2023, she defended her doctoral thesis entitled 'Today, outside the window, the trees looked like living creatures on the moon', presented at the Labyrinth 2 Gallery in Lublin, referring to the concept of retrotopia and the spiritual needs of contemporary man. Her works have been presented at, among others, the Zachęta Gallery in Warsaw, MOCAK in Cracow, the Centre of Polish Sculpture in Orońsko, BWA Gallery in Wrocław, the Labirynt Gallery in Lublin, the Arsenał Gallery in Poznań, the Foksal Gallery Foundation in Warsaw, Oxilia Gallery in Milan, National Museum of Art in Kisinau.
