MICHAŁ MATEJKO (born 1988) is a Warsaw-based artist, researcher, and media art practitioner. Starting from photography, his practice focuses on issues related to information and perception. He consistently continues the process of transferring the concept of glitch and error into various media, including photography, graphics, installation, and object-based works. By limiting his artistic palette to monochromatic forms, he reflects on extremes, allowing intermediate states to become more visible. In his works, he seeks to develop a poetic and emotional motif of transferring human emotionality onto physical phenomena, searching for new means of expression that emphasize the relationship between perception and complex optical phenomena.

Matejko is a graduate of the Leon Schiller National Film, Television and Theatre School in Łódź, which he completed in 2016. His projects have been presented, among others, in the United States at an exhibition at Kirkland Gallery, operating within the Harvard Graduate School of Design (GSD). This international project involved three academic and artistic institutions: Harvard University (including its European branch) and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge.
