Nina Paszkowski, Without Lashes, cutout and ceramic works
Nina Paszkowski (b. 1991, in Switzerland) is a Cologne-based artist whose work delves into themes of desire, power, and interdependence among living beings. She employs mediums such as ceramics and paper to create forms that explore the balance between individuality and interconnectedness. Her installations often feature large-scale paper cut-outs and ceramic vessels that embody fragility and permeability.
Paszkowski studied painting at Camberwell College of Arts in London and at the Universidad Complutense in Madrid. She completed her MA in Art Studies at Maastricht University in 2016. Her work has been showcased in various exhibitions, including solo shows like "where do I end and you begin?" at the Lebadang Art Foundation in Hue, Vietnam (2024), and "who eats who here" at La Felce in Cologne (2023). Group exhibitions featuring her work include "Hypercreatures" at Max Ernst Museum in Brühl (2025) and "Beyond Nuclear Family: Home Sweet Home" at EFA Project Space in New York (2022).
