Paweł is working primarily across painting and drawing, he constructs ambiguous narratives suspended between memory, power, intimacy and decay.
His works often revolve around imagined protagonists and collapsing family mythologies, partially informed by his own ancestral history.
Through emotionally charged scenes and fragmented symbolism, he explores fleeting moments of tenderness, elevation, and vulnerability
that quietly shape human experience. His visual language draws inspiration from the cinematic atmospheres of David Lynch and Peter Greenaway
particularly their psychological tension, theatrical composition, and layered references to art history.
Recently, he has been working on a larger series about a fictional spendthrift who appears in the pages of his family.
Inspired by fictional characters such as Leverkühn and Hans Castorp, he attempts to capture the end of an era and the loss of control over his family and his life.
