Anna Panek
Painter and architect, graduate of the Faculty of Architecture at the Wrocław University of Technology and the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Recipient of a scholarship from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, finalist of the Samsung Art Master competition. She creates paintings, murals, and installations related to architecture. In her artistic activities, both disciplines of art are compared and sometimes contrasted.
Her works have been exhibited at the Arsenal Gallery in Białystok, the Ujazdowski Castle CCA in Warsaw, the Zachęta – National Gallery of Art in Warsaw, the National Museum in Gdańsk, and the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw. The artist’s works can be found in the collections of the Polish Bank and the National Museum in Gdańsk, among others. She works with the lokal_30 Gallery. The artist currently lives and works in Warsaw.
