Krzysztof Nowicki
Krzysztof Nowicki (b. 1988 in Bydgoszcz). In 2013, he graduated from the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk under the supervision of Prof. Teresa Miszkin. In early 2024, he defended his doctoral dissertation under the academic guidance of prof. Anna Reinert-Faleńczyk. He currently lives and works in Warsaw.
In 2023, he received an honorary distinction in the F. Eibisch Foundation competition and the First Prize in the "Artystyczna Podróż Hestii" competition (a scholarship in New York). In 2014, he completed an artistic residency at Artist Home Base in Hong Kong. In 2019, he won the Grand Prix of the III Triennial of Pomeranian Art, held at the State Gallery of Art in Sopot. In 2021, he was nominated for the Strabag Kunstforum Artaward and received a distinction in the 11th edition of the Young Art Compass. His work Sports Scene became part of the prestigious mBank collection of young paintings.
