You and I Are Nothing

You and I Are Nothing brings together new paintings, drawings, sculptures, and installations that revisit ideas first explored in Spiral (2011), a work that assembled a constellation of objects on a ground-level platform whose relationships and bonding energy remained deliberately obscured. Expanding on this earlier inquiry, the exhibition continues Rodrigo Hernández’s long-standing exploration of the possibilities of metaphoric language, the idea of network building and composition over fixed meaning, and the transformation of autobiographical experience into visual form.
