Sebastian Mikoś (1996) is a visual artist, a graduate of the Faculty of Graphic Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków (2022), and a co-founder of the Szaber collective and gallery. In his practice, he works with painting, drawing, and objects, treating media as tools for negotiating everyday reality. Mikoś's work is grounded in the tension between language and image—snippets of conversation and everyday messages become material for deconstructing meaning and exposing cultural arbitrariness. Absurdity and humor play a critical role, dismantling conventions and provoking reflection on the mechanisms of contemporary visuality.
