Thom Trojanowski
Thom Trojanowski (b. 1988, Kidderminster, United Kingdom) lives and works in Genk, Belgium. He graduated with a BA from Wimbledon College of Arts, London, UK in 2015. Trojanowski’s multi-medium practice emerges from a symbiotic relationship with nature, merging autobiographical elements, folk tales, and mythologies. His richly textured environments are populated by distorted forms and vivid colour palettes that evoke the density and complexity of forest ecosystems. Human figures, trees, spikes, butterflies, and moths function as recurring archetypes, reinforcing interdependence and tension between entities. At once inviting and intimidating, his works explore the psychological and symbolic dimensions of landscape, constructing immersive spaces where narrative, memory, and natural morphology converge.
