Maciej Salamon
Born in 1984. Painter, graphic artist, musician, illustrator. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, where he currently works. Vocalist and guitarist in the necropolis-themed duo Nagrobki. With Nagrobki, he has recorded four albums and performed at Poland’s most important festivals (Opener in Gdynia, Off in Katowice, Unsound in Kraków), as well as at Documenta in Kassel and the National Museum in Kraków. Creator of music videos and animations. He ran the in-house Gablotka Gallery on the premises of the Gdańsk Shipyard. Co-organiser of the interdisciplinary event “W szczerym Polu”. Apart from art, he enjoys skateboarding and dogs. Helenka and Gucio’s dad.
