Van Rij Gallery

The gallery's programme centres on bringing together different generational experiences. It connects emerging artists associated with Kraków with artists who came of age and developed their artistic outlook under the socialist system, and whose practices reflect on the political transformation and its lasting consequences.

A key element of the programme is its multifaceted perspective on contemporary social and cultural phenomena, with a strong emphasis on inclusivity and equality. The exhibitions address current issues and encourage reflection on both global and local challenges.

The gallery operates across two locations: in Kraków and in the historic porcelain factory in Ćmielów, where exhibitions are presented in the former manufacturing halls across 600 square metres.
