Kotarski Collection

Kotarski Collection is a private collection of contemporary Polish painting. Its mission is to promote contemporary art and make it more accessible to people who have traditionally felt that art galleries were not for them.  Through its publishing imprint, Altbuch, the collection has published House of Day, House of Night (works from the Radosław Kotarski Collection, 2025) and the monograph Come to My House by Wojciech Bąkowski (Altbuch, 2026, ISBN 978-83-67500-47-0). A monograph dedicated to Aleksandra Waliszewska, Destroyed Haven, is currently in preparation.  In 2025, works from the collection were presented in an exhibition at MOCAK in Kraków, accompanied by a curator-led tour that introduced a broad audience to the latest developments in Polish painting.  The collection also lends works to institutions and maintains an online presence at kotarskicollection.com.
