Monopol
Monopol gallery was founded in 2014 by Zuzanna Sokalska, a lawyer who earlier ran the Art New Media gallery for several years. The gallery’s program focuses on showcasing the diversity of artists primarily through generational and media aspects. Monopol exhibits works of the classics of post-war Polish art, by such artists as Maria Pinińska-Bereś and Jacek Sempoliński, through the pioneers of performance art, like Zbigniew Warpechowski and Krzysztof Zarębski, and outstanding painters - Łukasz Korolkiewicz, Leon Tarasewicz, as well as representatives of the young generation, like Basia Bańda and Cyril Polaczek.
