Polana Institute

Established in 2017, the Polana Institute is a joint venture of the curator Justyna Wesołowska and the gallery owner Marika Zamojska, who ran the former Starter gallery, founded in Poznań, and which later moved to Warsaw. Polana does not have a permanent exhibition space, it runs an open office, and affiliates its promotional activities with pop-up exhibitions, curatorial, and educational projects. The gallery represents a group of young artists, mainly painters, such as Paulina Włostowska, Hanna Krzysztofiak and Mikołaj Sobczak.
