BWA Warszawa

BWA Warszawa was founded in 2011 by Justyna Kowalska and Michał Suchora, who have previously cooperated with Le Guern and lokal_30 galleries, and the journalist Tomasz Plata. The gallery represents renowned Polish artists of the young and middle generation such as Agnieszka Brzeżańska, Jadwiga Sawicka, Witek Orski or Karol Radziszewski. In a mountain village near Wałbrzych, Suchora also runs the off-space BWA Sokołowsko, which acts as a miniresidential center and an additional exhibition space for artists.
