Common Arts Foundation

Between 2024 and 2026, the Common Arts Foundation consistently developed an exhibition programme centred on a dialogue between twentieth-century art and contemporary artistic practices, combining curatorial work with the use of private collections and collaborations with galleries in Poland and abroad.

Among its most significant projects was Witkacy. Reactivation. Portrait as a Laboratory of an Era, an exhibition dedicated to the work of Stanisław Ignacy Witkiewicz, developed in parallel with the artist's catalogue raisonné, currently being prepared by the Foundation. Another major presentation was ARBEIT by Mirosław Bałka, organised in collaboration with Nordenhake Gallery. Another important project was 24.20 by Monika Drożyńska, summarising her long-term series Embroidery on the Road and exploring the relationship between the individual and public space.

The Foundation also took part in initiatives of key importance to the Polish art scene, including participation in Warsaw Gallery Weekend.
