Fundacja Galerii Foksal
Foksal Gallery Foundation was established in 1997 as a support unit for the legendary avant-garde Foksal Gallery. Since 2001 it has been operating independently, and is responsible for the international careers of such artists as Paweł Althamer, Monika Sosnowska, Paulina Ołowska, Wilhelm Sasnal, Jakub Julian Ziółkowski or Artur Żmijewski. FGF was the first Polish gallery to take part in the world's most important art fairs, presenting ambitious curator-led projects which met with success on the international art market, and thus it became the most renowned Polish gallery in the world. FGF also runs the Avant-garde Institute, Edward Krasiński's former art studio along with the adjoining exhibition pavilion.
