Since 2001, the Foksal Gallery Foundation has been in its current location on Górskiego Street in the centre of Warsaw. In 2015, the gallery building was refurbished by Diener&Diener, becoming a key element of the city's architectural landscape.

The Foksal Gallery Foundation promotes Polish contemporary art both locally and internationally. It represents with artists who have played a significant role in shaping contemporary art from Eastern Europe, including Paweł Althamer, Małgorzata Mirga-Tas, Paulina Ołowska, Wilhelm Sasnal, Monika Sosnowska, and Piotr Uklański. The artists associated with the gallery are active in various realms and their works have been shown in numerous international exhibitions, biennales and can be found in notable public and private collections.

The Foundation is also responsible for  two estates - Erna Rosenstein and Edward Krasiński. The latter's studio, together with a glass pavilion built on the flat's terrace, has been transformed into the Avant-Garde Institute, which is open by appointment.
