In a world where home is increasingly an inaccessible commodity and the stability it offers a fleeting illusion, residential architecture reveals its ambiguity. The TERRA COGNITA exhibition enters into a dialogue between photography and the art object, encouraging viewers to experience the theme of space in a multi-sensory way, treating it simultaneously as a functional, aesthetic, and emotional structure. The works of seven artists examine architecture as a conceptual trap, where often conflicting needs, interests, and expectations meet. A home, typically associated with permanence and shelter, is also treated as a manifestation of time, aspirations, and limitations. The exhibition questions the dissonance between what we associate with the concept of home and what residential space is becoming today: a promise, a project, an investment, a shelter, and a subject of personal negotiation.
