In the Nature of Things
Jednostka
18.09.2026 - 11.10.2026The central subject of the ‘In the Nature of Things’ exhibition is the Earth, its transformations and various forms of existence. The artists reflect on the cycles of natural processes, shared human responsibility for the biosphere, and the possibility of a symbiotic coexistence of different living beings on one planet.
Stefan Paruch’s paintings, inspired by old geological illustrations, depict processes of erosion, soil degradation, loss of water retention, and changes caused by human impact. Their diagrammatic character merges science with the metaphor of nature. Małgorzata Minchberg’s sculptures are created in dialogue with the Earth’s natural and civilizational processes. In her works, destruction becomes an active part of creation.
Using different artistic languages and scale of their works, the artists address the theme of environmental transformation. The exhibition at the Museum of the Earth presents paintings, drawings, sculptures, and a large-format installation.
