Foreign Body brings together Rafał Zajko and Thom Trojanowski in a shared exploration of what it means to exist on the threshold, between places, identities, and states of belonging. The exhibition traces the figure of the outsider not as a fixed position, but as a shifting, generative condition.

Trojanowski’s immersive environments draw from myth, ecology, and personal narrative, conjuring dense, otherworldly landscapes where human and non-human forms blur and coexist in uneasy symbiosis. In contrast, Zajko’s sculptural and speculative approach fractures linear time, weaving together memory, queerness, and cultural residue into objects that feel both familiar and estranged.

Together, their practices intersect in a space where transformation and dislocation become productive forces. Foreign Body proposes estrangement not simply as alienation, but as a site of potential, where new modes of relation, imagination, and belonging can emerge.
