Fundacja Archeologia Fotografii

For 17 years, the Foundation's activities have focused on reinterpreting the history of Polish photography, encompassing archiving, digitization, the development of publications, and the organization of exhibitions based on the team’s original research. Between 2022 and 2024, the Foundation integrated historical perspectives with contemporary methodologies, including those from the fields of relational aesthetics and posthumanism. In addition to monographic exhibitions (such as one dedicated to Maria Chrząszczowa), the Foundation has also reflected on the nature of its living archive, which requires ongoing recontextualization.
