Jednostka
Established in 2017 by Katarzyna Sagatowska, Jednostka focuses on contemporary art, often addressing current issues such as social engagement, freedom and identity. The gallery conducts versatile activities, such as organising exhibitions, publishing art books and producing films, and all its activities are accompanied by educational programmes. The gallery participates in fairs, including the Hotel Warszawa Art Fair, NADA Villa Warsaw, Unseen Amsterdam, and made its debut at Paris Photo in 2024.
Jednostka represents artists such as Kateryna Aliinyk, Karolina Balcer, Weronika Gęsicka, Rafał Milach, Wojciech Plewiński, and Andrzej Tobis.
Sagatowska also works as an independent curator and runs numerous projects promoting photography, including the series of meetings and books Wszyscy Jesteśmy Fotografami [We Are All Photographers]. Previously, she co-managed the first Polish auction project dedicated to this field of art – Fotografia Kolekcjonerska.
