Import Export
Import Export is a contemporary art gallery founded by Sonia Jakimczyk and Piotr Bazylko. The gallery focuses on promoting experimental practices and the exchange of ideas in contemporary art. Since its founding in September 2021, the gallery has hosted 15 exhibitions. In the past two years, these included group exhibitions such as Ruined (Condo London 2024) and Mental Pictures, the collaborative Drama (SAGG Napoli & Stefania Batoeva), as well as solo exhibitions by Teresa Murak, Veronika Hapchenko, Mia Dudek, Monika Misztal, Katarzyna Wyszkowska, Zuzanna Czebatul, Masha Silchenko, Dominika Kowyni, and Eternal Engine. The gallery works regularly with seven female artists. In 2023, Import Export presented its projects at art fairs such as Artissima (Masha Silchenko), Art-o-rama, Hotel Warszawa Art Fair, and Warsaw Art Fair; in 2022, the gallery participated in PHOTO LONDON (Mia Dudek), Artissima (SAGG Napoli & Veronika Hapchenko), and Hotel Warszawa Art Fair.
