Dom Spotkań z Historią

Dom Spotkań z Historią (DSH) was established in 2005 at the initiative of the KARTA Center. Since March 2006, it has operated as a cultural institution of the City of Warsaw. DSH is dedicated to the broad popularization of contemporary history.

Over the years, the institution has developed an effective methodology that, by using a variety of forms of communication, reaches an ever-widening audience. In doing so, DSH creates an efficient model of historical education that fosters a sense of identity based on the principles of freedom, tolerance, political neutrality, and worldview and religious neutrality.

In its commitment to the culture of remembrance, DSH offers programs for all generations, while also engaging in international dialogue about the past and its impact on the modern world.
