Instytut Fotografii Fort
The Institute of Photography Fort is a foundation whose statutory goal is to support Polish photography. The two pillars of its activities, which have been conducted since 2016 in the Fort Mokotów area, are the gallery and reading room, which define the key areas of the foundation's interests: exhibition and educational activities. The first of these, the Institute of Photography Fort, carries out by organizing 4-6 exhibitions annually. These are both solo exhibitions (in the vast majority of cases, debuts) and thematic group exhibitions. In both cases, their themes revolve around what is important to us "here and now" – broadly understood identity and Central European issues. Attempts at a multifaceted diagnosis of culture, politics, history, and contemporary matters in our region create the programmatic line of the IFF gallery.
