Olszewski
Olszewski Gallery specializes in the classics of 20th-century Polish art, ranging from the early avant-garde movements, through the classics of modernism and radical phenomena in post-war art, to current trends. The gallery's activities aim to make a real contribution to the development and expansion of knowledge about Polish art, which is why each exhibition is accompanied by a publication written by a researcher from a cultural institution. The gallery's mission is to highlight the importance of the work of local artists in the context of Western European culture, who are often overlooked in international discourse dominated by art histories based on artistic centers such as Paris, Berlin, or London.
