Deny! highlights the issue of consciousness of one’s own public space, whose definition is a tool of power. The monumental installation SPY on the building’s façade, along with the cement books and the reversed flag inside, expose the mechanisms of censorship, surveillance and control. The exhibition raises questions such as: what is visible, what is erased, who shapes collective memory, and to whom does public space really belong?
