Luca / Art office

Luca at Art Office is a unique collaboration between the Luca collective and Art Office gallery, which provides its space for a special, artist-led programme. The gallery’s profile is based on exploring the relationship between art and contemporaneity, and over the past two years it has evolved towards process-based and interdisciplinary practices. A key element of the programme has become the collaboration with four artists – Michał Kołodyński, Mateusz Dąbrowski, Michał Matejka, and Marta Pogorzelec – who, as Luca, explore the boundaries between the human and the technological.  The gallery has become a space for projects investigating intimacy, error, and algorithmic narratives, exemplified by activities presented as part of Fringe Warsaw. Alongside these experimental practices, over the past two years Art Office has presented significant painting exhibitions, including works by Magdalena Laskowska, Krzysztof Musiał, Robert Motelski, Anna Alicja Trochim, and Jolanta Johnsson.
