Community and exclusion, memory and dreams — this interdisciplinary exhibition brings together Łukasz Dziedzic’s paintings, drawings, and sculptural objects with Tom Swoboda’s photography, installations, and multimedia works. In his paintings, Dziedzic transforms archival photographs into post-apocalyptic visions that hover between documentary and fiction, revealing symbolic destruction and utopian longings. Swoboda exposes the zoo’s architecture as a form of oppression against nature, juxtaposing fragments of enclosures with organic structures to evoke the necessity of embracing interspecies communities.

Both artists interrogate the logic that divides “us” from “them.” They turn their gaze toward migration, postcolonial traumas, and the boundaries erected by anthropocentrism. Their shared, post-humanist dialogue forces us to ask: can we truly coexist without violence? After all, every choice carries responsibility — and the dance with a devil on our back continues.
