Ewa Doroszenko is an intermedia artist and Doctor of Fine Arts, living and working between Warsaw and Kraków. Her multidisciplinary practice spans painting, video, sound installations, and audiovisual projects, including works created for digital and online environments. A graduate of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, she has been awarded scholarships from the Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage (2019, 2024) and the City of Toruń (2011, 2013). Doroszenko is a laureate of several international competitions, including Preview at Fait Gallery Brno (2016), Debuts by doc! photo magazine (2018), and Debut by the Lithuanian Photographers Association (2018). Her work has been recognized in numerous international festivals and exhibitions, such as the Noorderlicht International Photo Festival (2021), Kranj Foto Fest (2021), International Festival of Photography FIF BH – Brazil (2020), Athens Digital Arts Festival (2020), GENERATE! Festival for Electronic Arts (2019), Der Greif and the World Photography Organisation Open Call (2018), FILE Electronic Language International Festival São Paulo (2015), the Young Art Biennale Rybie Oko (2013), and the Grey House Foundation Competition in Kraków (2011). She has participated in numerous artist-in-residence programmes across Europe, including Hangar Barcelona (Spain), Kunstnarhuset Messen Ålvik (Norway), Atelierhaus Salzamt Linz (Austria), The Island Resignified Lefkada (Greece), Pragovka Gallery Prague and Petrohradska Kolektiv (Czech Republic), and Klaipeda Culture Communication Center (Lithuania).
Ewa Doroszenko has presented her projects in numerous solo and duo exhibitions (in collaboration with Jacek Doroszenko) at institutions such as the Wrocław Contemporary Museum, Fait Gallery in Brno, Pragovka Gallery in Prague, Exgirlfriend Gallery in Berlin, Foto Forum in Bolzano, the Polish Institute in Düsseldorf, Propaganda Gallery in Warsaw, Fort Institute of Photography in Warsaw, Municipal Gallery bwa in Bydgoszcz, Witold Lutosławski National Forum of Music in Wrocław, Centre of Contemporary Art Znaki Czasu in Toruń, Starak Family Foundation in Warsaw, Kolonia Artystów in Gdańsk, Wozownia Art Gallery in Toruń, Vilnius Photography Gallery, and MAH – Angra do Heroísmo Museum.
Her works are held in numerous art collections, including the Centre of Contemporary Art Znaki Czasu in Toruń, Raffles Europejski Hotel in Warsaw, Lower Silesian Society for the Encouragement of Fine Arts in Wrocław, and the Krupa Art Foundation in Wrocław.
