Queer Resistance and Memory in Times of War. Meeting with Jan Bačynskyj

Jan Bačynskyj
During the meeting, artist Jan Bačynskyj, founder of Queer.War.Archive, will talk about his practice, which emerges at the intersection of queerness, forced migration, and the struggle to find one’s place in a world undergoing rapid transformation. The conversation will explore how art can become a space for resistance, tenderness, and the documentation of invisible histories. The meeting will also serve as a brief introduction to the contemporary Ukrainian queer scene and its strategies for survival in times of crisis.
