In an era of visual overstimulation, white seems to offer a promise of comfort and harmony — a new beginning. It is sweet, cool, and pure. Blissful relief! Yet somewhere on the pristine surface, a crack keeps reappearing, refusing to fade away; something is trying to break through.

The exhibition explores the notion of desire — for comfort, pleasure, satisfaction — that can never be fully fulfilled. Every attempt is ultimately doomed to fail. It halts at the confrontational word "almost," urging us to look beneath the surface to see what lies hidden.

The exhibition features works of thirteen artists and five designers. It is the next part of the project carried out in collaboration between BOKETTO and LETO, within which art is presented in the context of mid-20th-century collectible design.
