"Simple Gestures" – screening

Simple Gestures is a documentary film directed by Paweł Sosnowski, dedicated to the artistic practice of Janusz Bałdyga. The film is not only a portrait of an outstanding artist, performer, and lecturer, but above all, it is a portrayal of his perspective on the role of art in everyday life. The titular “simple gestures” appear throughout the film in the form of archival materials and video documentations of previous performances, as well as new works prepared especially for the documentary.
