I’m Looking for Hope in the Bushes
Aspekty
18.09.2026 - 24.10.2026The exhibition I’m Looking for Hope in the Bushes explores ways of coping with difficult moments and searching for solace. Its starting point is closeness to nature, not as an escape, but as a path toward regaining balance. The exhibition and its title refer to Anka Wandzel’s book The Art of Survival, presenting nature as a space of regeneration, empathy, and gentle adaptation.
Marta Jabłońska’s paintings are records of emotional states, the need for shelter, and the search for safety. Anna Goebel creates an installation made of dry pine needles, showing how fragile matter can become a stable form through the repetitive gesture of collecting and arranging. Julia Ciunowicz works with linen, hemp, wool, and human hair, creating textiles and installations that restore a connection with materiality and the sensory experience of the world.
The exhibition asks where we can find strength today. It shows that resistance does not have to mean having to be strong, but can instead emerge from sensitivity, attentiveness, and relationships with our surroundings.
