Zaradny Anna
A sound and visual artist, composer, instrumentalist, and co-founder of the Musica Genera festival and label. Classically trained in saxophone and conducting, she applies her background in the fields of improvised and experimental music, treating her instrument and other tools as open, organic forms. As a composer and instrumentalist, she navigates a broad spectrum ranging from acoustic improvised music with a minimalist contemporary idiom to experimental electronic music. Her visual works are primarily created in the form of installations, objects, photography, and video. The artist employs abstraction, micro sound objects, architectural elements, light, and space in her creations.
