Ant Łakomsk's exhibition entitled “Camille” (working title) will be a presentation of the artist's most recent paintings, inscribed into a spatial installation produced together with Zuzanna Kozłowska. In the works created for this exhibition, Łakomsk develops her current interests, such as self-representation, autofiction, nostalgia or a dialogue with art history.
An important strand of the exhibition will be themes related to the Arts and Crafts movement and its theoretical assumptions formulated by William Morris. In addition, the artist will prepare, in collaboration with Zuzanna Kozłowska, an intermedia work - a kind of gesamtkunstwerk - which will reflect on the history of exhibition and quote elements of the work of Marc Camille Chaimowicz (1947-2024).
The gallery space will be transformed into rooms, which are both an extension of the compositions in the paintings and the critically engaged architecture of the exhibition.
