After the Gesture. Performance installation by Nagi Gianni in collaboration with the Avant Art Festival

An elderly woman repeats gestures of social affection – an invitation to dance, a kiss on the hand – until they become autonomous traces of absent relationships. A glove, clay, and flowers transform her hands into something foreign. A minimal sound constructs a space of memory and desire, asking how an aging body can still create a sense of presence.
