Workshop on the Practical Aspects of Preserving Archival Photography
Led by specialists from the Archeology of Photography Foundation (FAF), this workshop offers participants an opportunity to assess the condition of their own collections and to receive expert guidance on how to ensure their proper care and preservation.

The program will cover, among other topics:

– essential principles for storing different types of photographs,
 – methods for identifying various kinds of photographic negatives,
 – the most common causes of damage to collections,
 – examples of simple preventive measures that can be applied independently.

Target group:
The workshop is designed both for individuals interested in safeguarding family heirlooms and for collectors and researchers. Sessions will be adapted to the needs of senior participants (including access to an induction loop; presentation materials will follow WCAG accessibility guidelines).
